Well what can I tell you about myself, my name is Donna Bird and I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful children. My daughter (Big Bird) is 5 years old, and my son (Little Bird) is nearly 3 years old. I work from home, for my husbands business. I do get some free time and that is spent mainly looking after the house, my husband and my children. I love my life and I’m very lucky to have lovely family and friends close by to share day to day life with. We live near Stamford in a lovely quiet village, we recently moved to our dream home, and we love it here.

This is my blog about my family life, it will hopefully give you an insight into what I like to call ‘Bird world”. I love taking photos, I’m a keen photographer in the making (maybe). So hopefully you will enjoy some of my pictures. Both me and my hubby enjoy taking photographs, I love photographing people and my hubby likes to photograph landscapes and architecture, so between us we pretty much cover everything. I also enjoy cooking for the family, reading, bike rides, swimming, meeting up with friends and their children, family holidays and days out, mainly children related days out, but all the same fun is had by everyone and we adults have a good excuse to relive our childhoods.
