December 1st 2012 hurrah it’s finally arrived ……The countdown to Christmas can begin!! On Wednesday this week I sat down for two hours whilst the children were at school and prepared their advent calendars. I spent the time wrapping up little chocolates and treats for them,then putting them behind the doors of each of their advent calendars. When they woke up this morning they were both really excited and could not wait to open up door 1.
Little Bird was really excited to find two chocolates behind his first door and he was even more pleased when I told him that he could eat them before breakfast,well its the only time of year I do this and it is nearly Christmas!!
Big Bird was a little bit more patient and decided to have her breakfast first and save her chocolates until after breakfast. Both of the childrens calendars are filled with chocolates and sweets and also some clue cards advising them to where their treat is hiding.
So let the countdown to Christmas begin ……..
