Big Bird is dog mad,she would do anything to have one of her own. A few months ago she found a dog running around our street and she claimed it as her own. I told her that we could not keep it but she could put him in the garden and we would find the owner. I lost count of the amount of times Big Bird said to me,“If we can’t find the owners can we keep him?”I said we could keep him if we couldn’t find them,to keep her quiet but I knew the dog had an owner somewhere we just had to find them. We started to walk the streets with him on a lead and within a few hours we came across a man who was hunting for him. Big Bird was mortified as we handed him over because she really did want him.
Big Bird may not have a real dog but imagine her excitement when a dog of her own arrived in the post.
