If you go down to the woods today you better go in disguise……… Well we went to the woods today but we didn’t go in disguise we had a lovely walk earlier today and enjoyed the cold and frosty morning. We went to Bourne Woods which is a lovely place to go but it has one down side. That downside is the amount of dog poo that is on the floor. Every time we go we pray that its not going to be messy. It would be lovely to relax and let the kids run as they please but I do hold them back because its to messy. We did however have a lovely time, the children enjoyed looking at the birds, picking up leaves, twigs and pine cones so they can make a picture with them tomorrow.
I can’t remember the last time I took my son to the woods without a full waterproof suit on. Even when it has been dry for weeks he will find mud to fallin. Still a great day out.
