Moshi Monsters Moshling Zoo Nindendo DS game

Moshi Monsters are talked about alot in our house. Big Bird is mad about anything Moshi related so when she saw that a Moshi Monster game had been released on the Nintendo DS she was so excited to try it out. We got the chance to review this game and from the moment it arrived Big Bird has loved playing it. The DS game is called Moshi Monster Moshling Zoo it expands on the popularity of the Moshlings and brings a new way to interact with the much loved series. It combines adoptable pet monsters, safe social networking, games, stories, missions and educational puzzles into one innovative entertainment package.

In this fab new game you have a very important job to take on ……… You will be the Caretaker of the Moshling Zoo. Moshling expert Buster Bumblechops has put you in charge of the Moshling Zoo, you can fill your zoo with decorations, accessories and any Moshlings captured in the Wooly Wilderness.

The Moshling Zoo has 52 Moshlings for you to collect, including an elusive ultra-rare Moshling that you can add to your room in your online game of Moshi Monsters. Players also have access to brand new mini-games which will boost your Moshling’s levels, mood, health and happiness. By boosting their Moshling’s stats, players can use them to compete on a global scale to win awards and trophies to take back to their zoo, some of which unlock items on MoshiMonsters.com.

Moshi Monsters also has the world’s fastest growing online game community for children, over 50 million players across 150 countries, making it a safe way for children to interact.

Moshi Monsters Moshling Zoo is designed for children aged 3 years old+ but I think it will be more appealing to children aged 5-12 years old. When this game arrived Big Bird raced off and entered the code into her online Moshi Monster game. When you enter the code it unlocks some plants for you to put into your garden. You have to wait approx a day for them to grow and then hey presto……… Nipper arrived and Big Bird swiftly added him to her Zoo.

Big Bird has set up this game and played it on the DS all by herself, she has searched around and found Moshlings around the map and put them in her zoo. Normally I keep an eye on her online Moshi Monster but she has done the Zoo all by herself, she proudly told me tonight that she was on level 15 already. Which is brilliant as she (WE) have been playing the online game for 7 months and are now on Level 18. She has been playing the DS Moshling zoo for 2 weeks and she is loving it, she loves telling me all the latest Moshlings she has caught and the babies that she is growing. This game really has had her gripped.

As my little girl is mad about Moshi Monsters she’s managed to get many of her friends into it aswell. We have had them around the house and they have had a look into the Moshi world through Big Birds eyes and before long they are hooked on it. This game is a fantastic extra to the Online Moshi Monster game. Big Bird has really enjoyed playing it. Today I asked her what she thought of this game and she said ” Its brilliant mum, its the best game I have on my DS. I love it.” So there you have it in the words of my 6 year old daughter. This will definitely go down well with any Moshi Monster Fan. You can purchase this for around £29.99 but prices may vary depending on where you shop.
